Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.   DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------- Captivation Software has an immediate need for a Full Stack Developer to support Reporting Tool Suite Sustainment efforts. Support will focus on development and sustainment of the the project's tool. The project is a focus on a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished intelligence products. Efforts will include creating enhancements for the project based on high-priority mission needs, as well as maintenance/sustainment of the existing code base.   Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly 1 week out of every 3-4 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked. On average, the first team is paged for after-hours support approximately once every couple of months with most issues resolvable by phone.   REQUIREMENTS ---------------------------------------- SECURITY CLEARANCE: * Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. * A minimum of three (3) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis/resolution. * Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years experience REQUIRED SKILLS: * Java 8+ * C/C++ * Scripting (python, bash, php) * Apache Tomcat * Elasticsearch * Oracle * Spring Boot * RESTful web services * Solr * Comfortable working in a Linux environment * Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications DESIRED SKILLS: * Amazon Web Services (AWS) * Primefaces * Quarkus * Node.js * Lex/Yacc * Basic sysadmin skills (managing cron jobs, selinux, etc.) * Agency reporting and dissemination tools * Agency classification policies * Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence   This position is open for direct hires only.
