Household Assistant in San Diego, CA: $30–$32/hour, full-time, Monday–Friday. A busy solo entrepreneur is hiring a dependable Household Assistant to handle grocery shopping, errands, daily meal prep, laundry, and light housekeeping. This role combines the work of a personal assistant, house manager, and housekeeper in one consistent, full-time weekday position. It's ideal for someone who takes pride in a well-run home, works independently, and anticipates needs before being asked. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 paid hours per week. Choose an 8.5-hour day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch (for example, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM) or a 9-hour day with a 1-hour unpaid lunch (for example, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM). Start and end times are flexible by about an hour. This is a W-2 household position placed by Hello Nanny!®, a nationwide household placement agency. HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES * Shop for groceries and run household errands * Plan and prepare daily meals, and keep the kitchen stocked and organized * Wash, fold, and put away laundry * Wash dishes and keep the kitchen clean every day * Keep the home tidy, organized, and guest-ready * Help with package returns, pantry and fridge organization, and coordinating home services and deliveries  HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANT QUALIFICATIONS * 2+ years of experience as a household assistant, house manager, housekeeper, or in a similar private household role * Confident home cooking skills, and the ability to follow the client's preferences and dietary needs * Strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage your time without supervision * Discretion and professionalism in a private home * Valid driver's license, a reliable and insured vehicle, and a clean driving record * Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (groceries, laundry baskets)  NICE TO HAVE * Experience supporting busy professionals, entrepreneurs, or high-profile clients * Meal planning, or experience cooking for specific diets * CPR/First Aid certification  PAY, SCHEDULE, AND BENEFITS * $28–$30/hour, paid as a W-2 employee * 30-40 guaranteeed hours per week, Monday–Friday * Your choice of a 30-minute or 1-hour unpaid lunch, with flexible start and end times * Paid sick leave per California law * Mileage reimbursement for errands in your personal vehicle How to apply: Submit your application through this posting.
