Position Summary We’re seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing virtual care team. The PA will provide direct, evidence-based GI care via telehealth in collaboration with supervising physicians, registered dietitians, and health coaches. You’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, whole-person digestive health care that improves outcomes for our members. Why is this a great opportunity for a Physician Assistant? * Work in a cutting-edge virtual care environment with a focus on digestive health * Flexible schedule with a 32-hour weekly guarantee and the opportunity to increase to 40 hours * Collaborative, multidisciplinary care model (Gastroenterologists, Internal Medicine physicians, dietitians, health coaches, mental health professionals, and care coordinators) * Mission-driven work: improving quality of life for people with GI conditions * Fully remote, serving members across all 50 states Responsibilities Include: * Conduct virtual patient assessments (history, symptoms, guided physical exam where appropriate) * Diagnose and manage GI-related conditions in alignment with clinical protocols * Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests within scope of practice * Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and care team * Escalate complex or high-risk cases to supervising physician as needed * Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic health record * Participate in case reviews, chart audits, and team meetings You’ll be a good fit here if you are: * A compassionate, patient-centered clinician with strong communication skills * Comfortable practicing in a fully virtual environment * Collaborative by nature and energized by working in multidisciplinary teams * Adaptable and excited to be part of an early-stage company shaping the future of care Required Qualifications * Current, unrestricted PA-C license in the United States, with willingness to obtain additional state licenses (Cylinder will cover costs as needed) * Experience managing patients with chronic conditions or in a GI specialty (e.g., IBS, IBD) * Ability to practice independently within scope, while collaborating effectively with supervising physician and care team Desired Qualifications * Prior telehealth experience * Multistate licensure * Experience with motivational interviewing or patient-centered counseling approaches * Bilingual proficiency (Spanish strongly preferred, other languages a plus) Hiring Timeline We're intentionally hiring ahead of our clinical expansion. Rather than waiting until launch, we invest in our providers by beginning paid employment during the licensing, credentialing, and onboarding process. During the first phase of employment, you'll be compensated while completing: * Multi-state licensure (company paid) * Credentialing and enrollment As licensure, credentialing, and operational readiness are completed, providers will transition into clinical training and begin caring for Members.
