The fashion industry produces over 100 billion garments a year. 60% end up in landfill, not because people don't want these clothes, but because the supply chain for getting secondhand fashion from donation to resale is completely offline, manual and broken. Fleek is fixing this. Our mission is to make secondhand the first choice. We're building the infrastructure powering the global secondhand clothing trade, through a B2B marketplace and the AI systems digitising the supply chain behind it. Through Fleek, vintage stores, online resellers and retail buyers source graded secondhand inventory directly from wholesalers and rag houses across multiple countries. Our key enabler is FleekSort, an AI model fine-tuned on secondhand fashion, that can grade, price and categorise items with just a photo, turning what has historically been an opaque and manual trade into a structured, searchable and tradable global inventory layer. Since 2022, we've saved 9 million items from landfill while tripling in size year-on-year. In July 2026 we closed our Series B, led by Burda Principal Investments with participation from eBay and FJ Labs, alongside existing backers a16z, Y Combinator and HV Capital, plus angels who helped build Depop, Shopify and Postmates. Today, we connect suppliers across India, Pakistan and Dubai with roughly 50,000 retailers and resellers in 100+ countries. With the secondhand fashion market projected to reach $350B by 2027, Fleek is building the AI-native operational and financial backbone for secondhand commerce globally. ABOUT THE ROLE We're hiring a General Manager to own and scale Fleek's India supply engine into a $30M+ business by 2028. You'll report directly to the CEO, with full ownership of supply, warehousing, QC and first and last-mile logistics across India. India is one of the world's largest destinations for used clothing: roughly 9,000 containers land here every year, most of it flowing through offline, relationship-driven trade. Your job is to bring the full breadth of that inventory online: deepening every existing seller relationship, strengthening our Panipat and Kandla hubs and expanding into other high-potential Indian markets. You'll inherit a real foundation, an established QC and operations team, a Senior Supply Manager and a Key Account Manager in supply, and build the org from there into the structure this business needs. WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT Very few roles anywhere let you run a country P&L for a category that is being digitised for the first time. The used-clothing trade in India has operated the same way for decades: offline, opaque and built on personal relationships. You'll be the person who brings it online, backed by a marketplace with 50,000 buyers in 100+ countries pulling demand through everything you source. This isn't a caretaker GM role. It spans commercial (seller acquisition and growth), operational (warehousing, QC, logistics) and product-adjacent work (getting suppliers live as an always-on social engine for video handpicks and chat-based selling). You'll also stand up an entirely new bet: licensed factory leftover stock as a distinct liquidation business. And you'll do it with a direct line to the CEO, real capital behind you post-Series B and AI at the centre of how the whole operation runs. WHAT MAKES YOU A FLEEK GENERAL MANAGER? * Market Launcher: You've built and scaled teams and markets from scratch, including entering new geographies, and you get energy from zero-to-one chaos rather than inheriting a machine. * P&L Owner: You think in revenue, margin and unit economics by default, and you're comfortable being held to a hard commercial number. * AI-Native: You personally build or run repeatable automations, and you push your team to work the same way. AI is how you operate, not a slide in your deck. * Ground-Level Operator: You're as comfortable on a warehouse floor in Panipat as in a board review and you know the metrics that make warehousing, QC and logistics tick. * Shape-Shifter: In a single day you can be a salesperson winning a supplier, an operator fixing a fulfilment issue and a customer-experience owner obsessing over a buyer complaint, and be equally credible in all three. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Own the India P&L: Scale India's supply engine into a $30M+ business by 2028, sized against the roughly 9,000 containers of used clothing landing in India each year. * Deepen supply: Grow the inventory value our existing Panipat and Kandla suppliers contribute over time, measured through Net Dollar Retention of supplier inventory acquisition. * Broaden supply: Build toward 1,000+ quality suppliers by strengthening Panipat and Kandla and standing up sourcing in other high-potential Indian markets. * Turn suppliers into a social engine: Get Indian suppliers ready for video handpicks and chat-based selling, backed by ongoing seller education and tracked through Seller NPS. * Protect the buyer experience: Build a base of vetted, quality sellers and deliver a great experience for Fleek's global buyers, measured through fulfilment rate and cancellation rate. * Launch the liquidation bet: Stand up and scale factory leftover stock, sourced with brand licensing to resell, as a distinct new business line. * Build the India org: Grow the team beyond today's baseline (QC and operations staff, a Senior Supply Manager and a supply KAM) into the structure needed to run all of the above. * Run an AI-native operation: Automate the repeatable parts of supply, QC and seller management, and hold the whole India team to the same standard. WHAT YOU BRING * 7 to 10+ years of relevant experience, based in Delhi NCR. This is an on-the-ground leadership role, not a remote one. * A proven market-launch track record. You've built and scaled teams from scratch, including expansion into new geographic markets. * Strong commercial and P&L ownership. You've carried a revenue or margin number and know how to move it. * An AI-native way of working. You personally build or run repeatable automations and push your team to work the same way. * Operational depth across warehousing, QC and logistics. You understand the key metrics and have run physical operations at scale. * Genuine cross-functional versatility and strong communication. Equally credible and clear as a salesperson, an operator and a customer-experience owner within the same day. * A genuine excitement for building a market-defining business in a category that has never been digitised before.
