The Head of Marketing role will play a key role in shaping this next chapter—leading the development and delivery of our marketing strategy, including how we show up in the market, how we grow demand, and how we continue to evolve our brands globally. Success in this role will be measured through growth in qualified demand, bookings, revenue and customer lifetime value. As a member of the leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping business direction, working closely with the CEO and wider leadership team to ensure strong communication and sound decision making that aligns with our organisational goals. What you'll be doing In this role, you will take ownership of marketing strategy and execution across brand, performance, and customer lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for: * Leading the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy to support business growth and customer demand. * Contributing as a member of the leadership team, influencing organisational priorities and strategic direction. * Leading annual and quarterly marketing planning, ensuring clear prioritisation, alignment, and focus. * Owning and evolving brand positioning to ensure clarity, consistency, and strong market differentiation. * Leading performance marketing across digital and offline channels, with a strong focus on optimisation and ROI. * Driving customer lifecycle and retention strategies to improve engagement, repeat purchase, and long-term value. * Leading and developing the marketing team, building capability, confidence, and high performance. * Managing marketing budgets and ensuring investment decisions are commercially sound and well prioritised. * Working closely with Sales, Product, Customer Care, and other teams to ensure a connected guest experience. * Ensuring marketing activity is well planned, clearly communicated, and effectively delivered across the business. About you You’re an experienced marketing leader who combines strategic thinking with strong commercial judgement and a hands-on understanding of modern marketing channels. You bring a track record of delivering growth through integrated marketing strategies and know how to balance brand building with performance marketing. You’ll ideally bring: * Marketing leadership experience. * Strong understanding of brand, performance, and lifecycle marketing. * A track record of delivering marketing strategies that drive measurable commercial outcomes * Strong analytical capability and comfort using data to guide decisions and optimisation. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams and stakeholders. * Leadership experience, including developing, coaching, or guiding others. * A collaborative approach and alignment with Active Adventures’ values and ways of working.
