Woods Machinery is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of the machinery brands we represent and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, extensive knowledge of heavy equipment diesel, hydraulic and electrical systems, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in all equipment supported by the company including but not limited to: Track Loaders, Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Chippers, Stump Grinders, Hydroseeders and Commercial Mowers. * Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections. * Conduct thorough equipment inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns. * Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment. * Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and maintain detailed records. * Consistently achieve and adhere to the allocated flat rate or estimated hours for each repair task. * Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment. * Other duties and special projects as assigned.
