BAYADA HOSPICE HAS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A PER DIEM SPIRITUAL COUNSELOR. THIS HOSPICE SPIRITUAL COUNSELOR POSITION IS FOR VISITS IN CHITTENDEN, FRANKLIN AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES IN VT.  Full time also available! THIS INDIVIDUAL WILL BE A MEMBER OF AN EXPERIENCED HOSPICE CARE TEAM THAT PROVIDES ASSESSMENTS, EDUCATION AND SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT RELATED TO END OF LIFE CARE.   HOSPICE / CARE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED, ALONG WITH EXPERIENCE MAKING HOME VISITS.     At BAYADA Hospice we believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality of home health care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability - our core values. With more than 200 offices nationwide, founder Mark Baiada still maintains the same compassionate, human focus that made our first office unique in 1975.     Responsibilities for a Hospice Spiritual Counselor include: * Develop and adhere to the client's spiritual care plan. * Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and family members. * Complete documentation accurately and timely. * Must be reliable and punctual. * Must demonstrate an appropriate attitude. * Participate in providing bereavement services to family members, referral sources, and the community. Qualifications for a Hospice Spiritual Counselor include: * Masters of Divinity degree and at least one unit of CPE preferred * One year of experience in a spiritual counseling capacity in a health care setting, preferably hospice or palliative care. * Must be willing to travel coverage area of office.
