KEY ACCOUNT SALES TEAM LEAD – PARIS Team: EU GTM – Sales FR Location: Paris (office first) Contract: Permanent, full time OUR KEY ACCOUNT SALES TEAM In under a year, our French Key Account Sales team has grown from zero to six Account Executives, and we're not slowing down. This team owns some of SumUp's most important merchant relationships in France, turning outbound conversations into long-term partnerships that help small businesses get paid, manage their finances and grow. As Team Lead, you'll take the proven playbook from our Italian Key Account team and adapt it for France, giving every Account Executive the coaching, structure and support they need to hit their numbers while we scale the team further through 2026. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Manage a growing team of Account Executives, coaching them on pipeline strategy, deal execution and day to day problem solving * Join client and prospect meetings alongside the team to support deals and model best practice * Refine the outbound sales process, messaging and sequencing to reach the right prospects more effectively * Run weekly pipeline reviews and forecast meetings, tracking performance and reporting results to senior management * Hire and onboard new Account Executives as the team grows * Feed customer insights back into the wider business to sharpen product and messaging YOU'LL BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF… * Experience leading or coaching a sales team, with a track record of helping individuals hit and exceed targets * Strong background closing deals as an individual contributor before moving into people leadership * Comfort working with outbound sales tools such as Gong, Lusha, Apollo, Sales Navigator, Outreach or Pipedrive * Ability to read sales metrics and pipeline data, and turn them into clear coaching plans and forecasts * Fluency in French and English, both used daily with the team and stakeholders WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN SUMUP 🎉 * 🌎 Opportunity to work with a truly global, multicultural team from our Paris location.
