Summary  We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Game UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Game UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the overall player experience. You will have a direct impact on how players interact with our games, ensuring that our interfaces are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.  Core Responsibilities  * Influence overall UI art styles and creative direction through your work.  * Create and implement UI artwork within defined look & feel.  * Design and implement user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and visually engaging.  * Create vector artwork, iconography, and export rasterized assets that are high quality and optimized for the game.  * Collaborate with game designers, artists, and engineers to ensure UI/UX meets project requirements.  * Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts.  * Conduct user testing and gather feedback to refine UI/UX designs.  * Ensure consistency and adherence to UI/UX best practices across the game.  * Optimize UI for different platforms, including PC, consoles, and mobile devices.  * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into your work.  Core Qualifications  * 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design within the video game industry.  * Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.  * Experience implementing UI/UX in Unreal.  * Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.  * Experience with responsive design and adaptive layouts.  * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.  * Strong portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design work in games.  * Possess a strong graphic design background and/or understanding of design principles.  * A strong understanding of systems design, UI style, layout, and 2D fundamentals.  Plus if...  * Experience with motion graphics and animation for UI elements.  * Knowledge of front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).  * Previous work on AAA titles or high-profile indie games.  Description  * Full-time job with benefits.  * Role is on-site in Santa Monica, CA.  * Office is located near downtown Santa Monica – near metro and freeway.  Join our talented team and play a crucial role in crafting user experiences that enhance the immersion and enjoyment of our games. Actual compensation is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
