YOUR IMPACT   * Patient Care & Triage: Conduct comprehensive patient triage by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and performing observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs. * Assist with patient exams, ensuring all necessary equipment and documentation are prepared, while supporting providers during testing and procedures. * Clinical Procedures: * Perform diagnostic and testing procedures, including vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, spirometry, and more. * Execute point-of-care testing such as strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipid panel, and urinalysis. * Provide cardiac and airway management, including ECGs, AED use, nebulizer treatments, and oxygen administration. * Deliver wound care assessments, immunizations, and medication administration per federal and state regulations. * Patient Engagement & Documentation: Assist with patient inquiries, communicate test results, and explain medication or therapy plans. * Maintain accurate electronic medical records, documenting patient histories and treatment details. * Observe and report changes in patients' conditions, taking necessary action as needed. * Clinic Operations: * Ensure medical instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and maintained per organizational policies. * Maintain a stocked and sterile workspace, supporting smooth clinic operations. * Collaboration with Clinical Team: Work closely with other members of the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care. * Communicate effectively and efficiently with providers and other healthcare professionals to relay patient information and updates. * Welcome and support the training of new team clinic team members.  REQUIRED AVAILABILITY   * Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in consecutive and or non-consecutive days: * For full-time: Must be able to work three (3) 12-hour shifts a week with at least four (4) shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday. * For part-time: Must be able to work two (2) 12-hour shifts per week with at least two (2) shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday. * For per diem: Must be able to work four (4) 12-hour shifts per month, ideally working one (1) shift each week.   * Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays. * If needed, must be able to work at a minimum of three (3) other ConvenientMD locations within a one (1) hour travel distance from your primary clinic. * Required to travel for training shifts which may occur outside of your primary clinic within a one (1) hour commute.   WHO YOU ARE   * Education: High school diploma or GED required. * Certification and demonstrated prior experience: State licensed practical nurse (LPN) with prior experience placing and monitoring IVs. For Maine and New Hampshire only, must be IV certified. * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
