About the Role 10x.team connects expert freelancers with leading AI labs building next-generation models. We are seeking experienced M&A consultants based in the EU or UK to enhance the realism, technical accuracy, and actionable value of AI-powered M&A systems. What You Will Do * Review and refine AI-generated outputs on M&A topics, including deal sourcing, due diligence, transaction structuring, valuation, post-merger integration, and stakeholder management * Evaluate AI responses for deal realism, sound reasoning, and direct applicability to M&A scenarios * Draft realistic M&A case studies and negotiation scenarios informed by your direct deal experience * Create alternative scenarios from perspectives such as buyer, seller, advisor, or board member * Identify logic gaps, impractical responses, or oversights in AI-generated M&A content In simple terms: You will review and improve AI-generated M&A content to ensure it demonstrates authentic industry practice and robust commercial logic. Rather than conducting M&A transactions, you’ll use your expertise to help AI systems deeply understand the complexities of real-world deals at scale. AI Lab work is often highly confidential as this exposes information of what an AI Lab is working on, and project requests are unpredictable. When an AI Lab request comes in, we often need to respond within 24 hours with suitable talent. Matching depends on the specific needs of each AI Lab project and your niche expertise. Once your profile is reviewed and approved, you may be matched to relevant AI Lab projects when suitable opportunities arise. This can happen within hours, but it may also take months, depending on the researchers at the AI labs and their project needs.
