We are currently hiring a Machine Operator (CNC) for our Bedford, PA Manufacturing Facility. Note: Satisfactory background check and negative drug screen required Schedule: We are hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift: * Monday-Friday  2:00pm - 10:30pm * Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:30am * Overtime required We are looking for: * Hard working individuals, wanting to excel in their profession * Self-starting team player with a positive attitude and good communication * Considers attendance & punctuality a priority Responsibilities include: * Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing material * Determine sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders * Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls * Maintain specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls * Resolve production problems by altering process to meet specifications, notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources * Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs * Documents actions by completing production and quality logs * Contributes to team effort working in other areas as needed Job Requirements: * Attention to detail, safety and quality * Basic Microsoft Office/Windows knowledge is beneficial * Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisions * Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins * Ability to read tape measures and use good rudimentary math skills * Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing for long periods * Physical stamina and strength * This position is classified as a safety- sensitive position.
