Job Scope The MPD Supervisors are required to supervise field installation and operation of Managed Pressure Drilling jobs. Key Duties and Responsibilities               * Demonstrate the ability to operate Opla Energy’s proprietary Software. * Fill out and submit all required documentation including safety meetings, daily tickets, JHA’s and permits. * Identify and handle kicks and various other drilling scenarios. * Ensure Equipment is kept clean and functional, inspect for wear and perform maintenance as required. * Evaluate experimental procedures and recommend changes or modifications for efficiency and adaptability to setup and production. * Utilizes and abides by safety procedures. * Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions. * Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner. Qualifications and Education Requirements * At least 3+ years of direct MPD experience. Knowledge in the following areas: MPD processes, equipment capabilities, and downhole knowledge. * 5+ years of direct MPD experience preferred but not required. Knowledge in the following areas: MPD processes, equipment capabilities, and downhole knowledge. * High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. * Valid driver’s license. * Good oral and written communication skills. * Pre-employment Testing (Drug, alcohol and fitness). * Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel computer skills. Competencies * Must be able to walk and stand throughout a 12-hour day. * Must be able to consistently lift  50 lbs. from a floor or table position to chest high using a proper lifting technique. * Must be able to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers in the manipulation of parts. Must demonstrate good hand/eye coordination. Must demonstrate good manual dexterity. * Must be able to read, evaluate and respond to well plans, drilling procedures, displacement schedules and perform normal math calculations easily. * Must be familiar and comfortable with various types of machinery.
