All Apex positions are eligible for annual bonus opportunities, reinforcing our commitment to recognizing and rewarding meaningful contributions that drive our collective growth.   Your Responsibilities as a Marketing Proposal Assistant: * Assist the Marketing team in the proposal process, including info gathering, resume creation, document layout, proposal submission, and interview presentations.  * Monitor websites for new project opportunities.   * Support special events and trade shows.  * Develop layout and graphic design skills in Adobe software (emphasis on InDesign) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).  * Perform tasks to ensure the quality of Marketing materials, such as proofreading, aesthetics, and compliance reviews.   * Make updates in the relationship management (CRM) system.  * Travel between Apex offices and to client locations to deliver proposals as needed.  * Fulfill other administrative tasks as needed.  What we're looking for: * Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, business, English, journalism, or a related field.  * 0-3+ years of professional experience. * Foundational writing and editing abilities. Graphic design skills a plus.  * Ability to learn Adobe InDesign.  * Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint.  * Availability for occasional event support during nonbusiness hours, such as community events.  * Solid organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills with strong attention to detail.  * Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.  * Ability to work in-person at the Fort Myers office.
