Blunier Builders, Inc. is a growing construction company located in Eureka, Illinois, seeking a motivated Mechanic to join our team. Our company operates three divisions with a diverse fleet of equipment and vehicles that require ongoing maintenance and repair. This position offers a wide variety of work, ensuring that no two days are the same. Responsibilities * Perform preventative maintenance on company equipment, vehicles, and machinery. * Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on equipment and vehicles. * Complete service calls at active job sites. * Repair and maintain power tools. * Order, organize, and manage parts inventory. * Help ensure company equipment remains safe, reliable, and job-site ready. Qualifications * Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. * Excellent analytical and diagnostic abilities. * Intermediate computer skills. * Welding and cutting torch experience is preferred. * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong organizational and multitasking skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. * Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments, including crawling under vehicles. * Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
