Full-Time Musculoskeletal Pain Medicine Physician Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Local Travel Required) Schedule: Monday–Friday | No Weekends Employment Type: Part-Time About CarePath Injury Centers CarePath Injury Centers is a growing, multidisciplinary medical practice specializing in the comprehensive treatment of patients injured in workers’ compensation and motor vehicle accidents. We provide an integrated model of care that includes: * Interventional pain management * Chiropractic therapy * Acupuncture * Functional rehabilitation services Our mission is to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care that restores function, reduces pain, and improves long-term outcomes. Position Overview We are seeking a full-time, licensed Physiatrist (PM&R) or Interventional Musculoskeletal Pain Medicine Physician to join our expanding team in the Greater Pittsburgh region. This role involves providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries related to work and motor vehicle accidents. The position includes travel to multiple clinic locations throughout the Pittsburgh area on a structured monthly schedule. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care * Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal injuries * Perform new patient evaluations and follow-up visits * Deliver minimally invasive interventional procedures (e.g., joint injections, trigger point injections, spine procedures) under fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance * Training available for qualified candidates seeking to expand procedural skills * Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team to optimize functional recovery * Maintain high standards of patient-centered care and professionalism Documentation & Compliance * Complete thorough and timely documentation within the EHR system * Adhere to workers’ compensation and personal injury documentation standards * Maintain compliance with all regulatory and billing requirements Collaboration & Communication * Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff * Work collaboratively with chiropractors, acupuncturists, and support teams * Provide timely updates to referring providers and case stakeholders as needed Travel * Current travel to the pittsburgh office location for scheduled clinic hours * Future Travel to multiple CarePath clinic locations in the Pittsburgh region if interested into developing into full-time role as the practice grows * Support practice growth and patient access across locations Qualifications * MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Pain Medicine, or related specialty * Active Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain) * Experience treating workers’ compensation and motor vehicle accident patients preferred * Experience with interventional pain procedures preferred (fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Adaptable, team-oriented, and patient-focused * Spanish language proficiency preferred Compensation & Benefits * Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) & bonus structure * No weekend work * Supportive and collaborative work environment * Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding organization * Other benefits for a future full-time role include: Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Sick Time, Paid Company Holidays, Healthcare allowance stipend
