This individual will be driving trucks across the Baton Rouge area as well as working in our warehouse. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers in a box truck (26 feet) from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. Additionally, this person will be doing ad hoc tasks such as checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and building orders. 2134 Sorrel Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70802 Check this out on our YouTube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mlSva1OTwk WHAT WILL YOUR JOB INVOLVE? * Overnight in hotel every Monday and Thursday night!! * Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner * Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations * Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships * Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes * Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs * Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections * Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!! WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? * Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD * Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck * Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse * Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations * Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections * Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus * Proven longevity in past employment * TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
