AO Racing commands attention with its fun liveries and fan-friendly presence.  The iconic liveries of “Rexy” and “Roxy” the T-Rex Porsche 911 GT3 Rawrs and “Spike” the LMP2 Dragon have captivated fans worldwide earning AO Racing a dedicated following.  We are currently competing in both the IMSA WeatherTech & European LeMans Championships.  As we continue to build our programs for the future, we are looking for the right people to grow with us.   What Makes You a Great Fit * You thrive in fast-paced, detail-heavy environments where accuracy and timing matter. * You’re a systems thinker who can build and maintain processes that keep a race team running smoothly. * You communicate clearly, collaborate well, and stay calm under pressure. * You take pride in organization, accountability, and supporting the crew with exactly what they need—before they need it.   What You’ll Do * Oversee all parts inventory for multiple race programs, ensuring accuracy, availability, and readiness for shop and track operations. * Manage ordering, receiving, labeling, stocking, and tracking of all components, consumables, and assemblies. * Maintain and optimize the team’s parts management software Lifecheck, ensuring mileage, lifeing, and usage data are always current. * Build and maintain standardized processes for inventory control, including reorder points, vendor management, and quality checks. * Prepare and pack parts for race and test events, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with series regulations. * Collaborate with crew chiefs, mechanics, engineers, and leadership to forecast needs and support car builds, repairs, and development projects. * Track component lifing to manufacturer specifications and team standards, ensuring no part exceeds its safe or legal limits. * Manage returns, warranty claims, and vendor relationships with professionalism and efficiency. * Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready parts department at all times. * Support the team at events, including parts distribution, emergency sourcing, and real-time inventory updates.   What You’ll Need * Minimum 3 years automotive parts management & ordering experience. * Ability to read & interpret motorsport parts manuals and technical documentation. * Strong understanding of GT3, LMP2 or similar high-performance race components, assemblies, and lifing requirements (preferred). * Proficiency with inventory management systems; experience with Lifecheck is a plus. * Strong Excel skills for tracking, reporting, and data accuracy. * Working knowledge of international shipping processes, including carnets, customs documentation, and global logistics. * Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS shipping systems. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, build sheets, and manufacturer documentation. * Exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and operational staff. * Ability to travel extensively to races and tests as required. * Ability to lift and move parts and equipment safely in a shop environment. * A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and prevent issues before they arise.
