About the Role      We are seeking an experienced Payment Ops Specialist  to support global payment operations across multiple banking partners, currencies, and payment rails. This role combines payment execution, payment approvals, operational risk management, data analysis, and process improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring payment accuracy, supporting liquidity management, identifying operational risks, and leveraging automation and AI tools to improve efficiency. The role requires a highly analytical individual who can interpret operational data, identify trends, challenge existing processes, and work collaboratively with Treasury, Finance, Compliance, Product, and Technology teams. What You'll Do * Authorise and process domestic and international payments across SWIFT, ACH, SEPA, FPS, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and Direct Debit rails.  * Monitor payment queues, bank cut-offs, funding positions and payment exceptions.  * Investigate rejected payments, recalls, returns and settlement issues.  * Support liquidity monitoring across multiple currencies and banking partners.  * Produce operational MI, dashboards and performance reporting. * Analyse payment data to identify trends, operational risks and automation opportunities. Leverage AI and automation tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.  * Participate in testing, implementation and rollout of new payment products, banking integrations and operational workflows.  * Work closely with Compliance,Treasury, Finance and Technology teams to ensure robust operational controls.  * Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on STP improvement, operational resilience and scalability. What You’ll Need * Minimum 4–7 years’ experience in Payments, Banking Operations, Treasury Operations or Financial Services.  * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business or related discipline.  * Strong understanding of global payment rails and cross-border payment processing.  * Experience working within payment approval and maker-checker control environments. * Advanced Excel skills.  * Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Omni or similar analytics platforms.  * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. * Familiarity with AI tools and workflow automation technologies.  * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.  * Experience within Fintech, FX or International Payments environments preferred. * Valid passport  required  Bonus * Professional certifications in Payments, Treasury or Financial Services are advantageous.
