As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you'll have the opportunity to work with children in a supportive environment that values quality care and meaningful patient relationships. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS   * Provide pediatric occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and in accordance with physician-approved treatment plans. * Implement individualized therapy programs to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, strength, range of motion, mobility, self-care, and functional independence. * Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and strategies to support continued progress. * Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes in a timely manner. * Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Build positive relationships with children and families while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. * Maintain compliance with all company policies, state regulations, and professional standards. QUALIFICATIONS * Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. * Current Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligible to obtain licensure before the anticipated start date. * Pediatric experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Passion for working with children and helping them achieve developmental milestones. * Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
