Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Full-time, Permanent Position * 37.5 hours weekly * Salary range is $44.25 - $53.83 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience * RRSP share plan and benefits * 11 weeks vacation (7 weeks paid) * Employees of the Child Development Centre primarily work following the school calendar This position is covered by the Public Service Alliance of Canada Collective Excellent opportunity to join the professional team of the Child Development Centre in beautiful Whitehorse, Yukon. Our growing team provides quality early intervention services to children from birth – 5 years of age throughout the Yukon. You will work as part of a transdisciplinary team and will be one of seven speech- language pathologists responsible for assessment, consultation and intervention for children with a wide variety of needs. Travel to rural communities may be required. Relocation allowance is available.   Nestled in iconic Yukon, Whitehorse is a spectacular city with room to spread out and enjoy a variety of activities such as hiking, x-country and downhill skiing, mountain biking and a vast array of arts and cultural activities. Whitehorse offers English first-language, French-first language and French immersion schools. Surrounded by mountains and nestled among dense black spruce and poplar forests of the Yukon River Valley, the City of Whitehorse aptly chose “The Wilderness City” as its slogan.
