B&B Contracting Group is accepting applications for Pipelayers to join our growing company. Pipelayers earn a wage of $30-$43 per hour depending on skillset and experience. Please be advised that we currently do not have an active opening for this position. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Complete work tasks within the trench to ensure pipe is laid to the proposed grade and alignment * Monitor granular backfilling and compaction of the pipe to ensure proper support * Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools * Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools * Promote a safe work environment and adhere to safety policies and work procedures QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS * Possess a minimum of 2 years’ prior pipelaying experience * Knowledge of and experience with installing pipe of various sizes and materials  * Ability to read and understand construction drawings is an asset * Possess strong work ethic and positive team attitude ABOUT THE COMPANY B&B Contracting Group is a distinguished company with over 75 years of experience in civil construction.
