We are committed to investing in our staff and developing a caring, friendly community of educators and learners.  ---------------------------------------- ABOUT THE ROLE  As the Cook, you’ll prepare meals, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and ensure all food is handled safely and in compliance with regulations.    WHAT YOU WILL DO  * Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks that fuel children’s growth and day.   * Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly.   * Follow food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for every child.   * Manage inventory and supplies to keep everything stocked and ready.   * Support children’s needs by accommodating allergies and dietary requirements.    Each day, you play a role in fueling children’s growth and supporting their well-being.    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR  We’re seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to maintaining a safe, clean environment.    You’ll be a great fit if you:  * Prioritize cleanliness, food safety, and attention to detail in everything you do   * Are organized and take pride in maintaining a well-run, safe workspace   * Are dependable, consistent, and take ownership of your responsibilities   * Work independently and as part of a team   * Bring a positive, supportive attitude each day    Qualifications:  * High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.   * Prior experience in food service, childcare, or institutional meal preparation.   * Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices required, including the ability to pass a background check and complete ongoing professional development.  * Ability to meet all state and local health department requirements.   * Must be at least 18 years of age.
