WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE * Technical Writing: 8+ years of technical writing experience, with deep exposure to database architectures and developer-centric enterprise products. * Database & Query Knowledge: Solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database management systems (e.g., Couchbase, MongoDB, ScyllaDB, or DynamoDB). * Docs-as-Code & Infrastructure: Deep expertise with Git, VSCode, and static site generation platforms (such as Antora, MkDocs, Mintlify, or Hugo). * Programming & API Proficiency: Hands-on experience documenting REST APIs along with the ability to read and write sample code in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, C++, Rust, or Ruby). * AI & Metrics Integration: Practical experience using documentation analytics and KPIs to guide content strategy, paired with familiarity with GenAI tools for documentation and development. MINDSET & FIT * Strategic Leader: You have a proven track record of setting direction, establishing processes, and lifting the standard of technical content across an enterprise product suite. * Proactive & Action-Oriented: You thrive with autonomy, take initiative to solve complex architectural problems, and learn by doing. * Curious & Adaptable: You stay ahead of industry shifts, continuously exploring new tools, languages, and documentation methodologies on the fly. * Quality-Driven: You maintain an uncompromising bar for technical accuracy, clarity, and developer experience in everything you publish.
