If that's the kind of work you want to do, we want to hear from you. WHAT YOU'LL DO STRATEGIC DESIGN AND PROBLEM FRAMING * Define the right problems to solve, not just create solutions. With so many possible directions, your role is to frame the problems worth solving and guide where we go * Think in systems, considering how features work together holistically rather than in isolation * Connect user needs with business objectives, serving as the bridge between what users need and what the business requires * Make judgment calls under pressure, knowing when something is genuinely good and when it needs more time HANDS-ON EXECUTION * Move from concept to testable prototype quickly, so more of your time goes into the creative and strategic decisions * Use AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, and others) to rapidly prototype, iterate, and validate concepts * Validate and refine outputs from any source, applying your taste and judgment to ensure quality WHO YOU ARE CORE TRAITS * Naturally curious and self-directed: you explore products deeply, ask "why," and don't wait to be told what to do * High learning velocity: you can quickly pick up new tools, frameworks, and ways of working * Taste and judgment: you know when something needs more refinement and when it's good enough to ship, and you care about the details no one else notices * User-first thinking: every design decision comes back to whether it's making someone's life better * Pride in being part of a small team: small teams move fast and own outcomes end to end.
