Binnie is looking for a Project Management Technician to join our Project Delivery – Transportation and Transit Division full-time in our Burnaby office. While based out of Burnaby, this position also offers a hybrid work environment. Our Project Delivery – Transportation and Transit Division manages client’s transportation projects. All our Project Managers work within the guidelines of the Project Management Institute. We have supported many of them in getting their PMP designation. We’re looking for someone to take on this challenging role and take advantage of our mentorship opportunities. You will play a key role in a talented and diverse team of Project Managers at varied experience levels. You will work with our experienced Project Managers assisting in providing planning, direction, and reporting to meet the specific project needs of our clients. YOUR ROLE: * Attending Project Meetings * Creating and maintaining project documentation * Assisting with progress payments * Assisting with the preparation of tender documents * Assisting with project reports * Supporting Project Managers with project delivery assignments * Communicating with project team and clients WHAT YOU BRING: * 2+ years of related experience working in a project management/civil consulting engineering environment preferred * Keen interest in learning about project management and being in a support role * Completed post-secondary technical education focused in Civil Engineering Technology, Finance, Project Management or a related field * Proficiency in MS Office Suite * Proficient with Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam to create, edit and mark-up PDFs * Working knowledge of the procurement process preferred * Ability to read and understand contract documents preferred * High level of accuracy and attention to detail * Strong organization and time management skills * Exceptional communication and teamwork skills   ABOUT BINNIE: We are the people behind the infrastructure you use every day. The salary for this position is commensurate with experience; the salary range for this position is  $59,565 - $95,100 annually. The final salary for this role may vary based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
