TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER / SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER DEPARTMENT: ENGINEERING – WATER UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE LOCATION: INDIANAPOLIS, IN EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FULL-TIME OVERVIEW Our client is seeking a motivated Project Manager to oversee utility infrastructure projects from planning through delivery. This role balances technical oversight, client coordination, and project execution, with opportunities for professional growth and mentorship under senior leadership. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage utility infrastructure projects including drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. * Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and proposals. * Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. * Supervise project staff and mentor engineers/technicians under senior guidance. * Perform QA/QC reviews, address design issues, and assist with construction-related problems. * Track labor utilization, revenue forecasting, billing, and documentation. * Conduct occasional site visits and construction observations. QUALIFICATIONS * Registered Professional Engineer (PE). * 7+ years of experience in utility infrastructure engineering. * Proficiency in project management and client communication. * Experience delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. * Knowledge of utility design standards, regulations, and construction practices.
