This interdisciplinary team of trailblazers is building our adolescent and adult programs from the ground up alongside the leadership of well-established clinicians and doctors working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past decade.      Compass Health Center is seeking a Child, Adolescent, & Adult Psychiatrist to join our team in Silver Spring, Maryland. We are seeking a Psychiatrist who is passionate about addressing the current nationwide behavioral health crisis, while leading interdisciplinary treatment teams within an organization that is redefining the standard of comprehensive PHP/IOP care. What You'll Do * Providing daily care in our PHP/IOP programs * Conducting psychiatric evaluations for Compass patients, establishing diagnoses, prescribing medication, and providing therapy * Leading experienced, multi-disciplinary clinical teams and making overall recommendations on treatment plans * Collaborating with family therapists, individual therapists, nurses, and psychiatrists * Average 10-12 patients per day * Monday-Friday schedule * Limited call responsibilities Who You Are * BE or BC Adult Psychiatrist * Active, unrestricted Maryland medical license. DC and VA license preferred. * Willingness and eligibility to apply for cross-licensure through the Interstate Medical License Compact * Licensed or ability to obtain Maryland Board of Medical Practice Licensure * Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Maryland * Skilled in the evaluation and treatment of mental illness * Excellent communication skills and the desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment We know job descriptions can be intimidating, so if this sounds like an opportunity for you, please don't hesitate to apply!
