ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Python Developer in Ukraine.   ABOUT PROJECT Our client is one of the leading U.S. investment banks. The project focuses on building a platform that automates data transformations using DBT, generating tables, views, and data pipelines. The solution processes queued requests and executes DBT workflows in isolated and production environments. REQUIREMENTS 4-5 years of commercial experience with Python Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency (async/await) Experience with Snowflake and PostgreSQL Experience with Camunda or other BPMN/workflow orchestration tools Understanding of cloud environments and modern infrastructure concepts (Azure, HashiCorp stack) Experience with multi-tenant applications and tenant isolation concepts Good understanding of Kubernetes (pods, autoscaling, resource management) Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests Willingness to learn and work with Java; previous Java experience will be a strong advantage Experience with DBT will be a plus Upper-Intermediate English or higher RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and maintain reliable software in line with technical requirements Analyze requirements, and independently estimate and set up tasks’ acceptance criteria Evaluate and coordinate tasks’ deadlines with the Technical Leader or Project Manager Apply the best software development practices and coding standards to produce high-quality and performant solutions Stay up-to-date with modern technology and optionally obtain professional certifications Participate as a trainer or a trainee in various learning programs outside the main project WHAT YOU WILL GET WITH ELEKS Close cooperation with a customer Challenging tasks Competence development Team of professionals Dynamic environment with low level of bureaucracy ABOUT ELEKS ELEKS is a custom software development company.
