Beyond testing stories, you will be responsible for the overall quality of the product and will ensure that the application functions flawlessly from the users' perspective. Collaborating closely with our Tech Lead, you'll streamline workflows and help organize releases. You'll be the decision-maker, giving the green light for each release. You’ll collaborate with Engineers to clarify product functionalities and provide them with testing data. Most importantly, you’ll be a partner to the Product Manager, gaining insights into the business and project scope to determine quality assurance priorities and to set effective testing strategies. In this role, you will work on AI driven applications as well. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in testing AI systems as well. RESPONSIBILITIES * Support the Product Manager with the preparation of the product specification, user stories, business analysis, prioritization, and other project management activities to enhance the team’s velocity * Work closely with the Product Manager and Tech Lead to define the test strategy, plan, scenarios, and cases, and collaborate on testing requirements and activities as a core part of the business rollout strategy. * Drive the testing lifecycle for AI components, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and quality of AI-driven features * Support the engineering team with product and business knowledge and testing data * Actively participate in refinement ceremonies, providing estimations (from the QA side) and uncovering edge cases * Drive the whole QA process and testing lifecycle * Measure and report key quality metrics to the team and stakeholders * Drive the product launch checklist documentation SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS * 3+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications * Experience with Postman or a similar tool for API testing * Proven ability to work independently on a project as the only QA * Highly self-organized, detail-oriented, reliable team player * Ability to clearly communicate and efficiently coordinate the team * Experience with creating test documentation (test strategy, test plan, test scenarios, and test cases) * Strong analytical thinking and ability to uncover edge cases * Experience working in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines. * Experience with test automation is a plus (Typescript, Playwright or Cypress) * Professional proficiency in English in both verbal and written communication Important Notice: OAK'S LAB communication, including interview requests and job offers, are only sent from an "@oakslab.com" or "@oaks-lab.com" email address (e.g., [email protected] or [email protected]).
