WHAT IS ON OFFER Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity through its Indonesia entity, PT AHK Testing Indonesia, who is looking for a Quality Officer to join our team based in Balikpapan, Indonesia. PT AHK Testing Indonesia provides independent analysis and inspection services to the metals, minerals and solid fuels industries. We have a well-earned reputation for our knowledge and professionalism in all aspects of weighing, sampling and analysis.   The Quality Officer plays a vital role in supporting the Quality and HSE Manager to coordinate and report on AHK Quality Programs while supporting preparation for Laboratory Accreditation based on ISO 17025:2017 standards. This position is responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), controlling quality documentation, managing NCRs and CAPA processes, and supporting internal and external audits. To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following: REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE  Essential  * Advanced analytical, evaluative, and critical thinking capabilities to analyze complex issues and deliver integrated solutions. * Strong skills in data gathering, information synthesis, LIMS, and professional report preparation. * Capability to manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), corrective actions (CAPA), proficiency testing, and risk assessments. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across diverse internal and external stakeholders. * Proven ability to design and deliver technical training programs, supervise staff, and manage resources efficiently. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications. * Professional discipline and maturity to maintain team accountability and project alignment. Required Work Experience * Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Quality Management Systems, specifically focusing on ISO 17025 and ISO 17020 standards. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Public Health, or Chemistry studies (experience may be Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Quality Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
