JOB OVERVIEW The RevOps Partner II is the embedded operational and strategic partner to AvidXchange's direct sales organization. Sitting directly at the table with sales leadership, you drive the cadences, insights, and operational infrastructure that keep our revenue engine running at peak performance. In this role, you are a trusted advisor, business analyst, and process builder rolled into one: someone who walks into a forecast call fully prepared, pressure-tests the pipeline alongside sales leaders, and then proactively builds the processes that ensure next quarter runs even smoother. Partnering across the direct motion, you will diagnose performance trends, maintain pipeline health, and surface actionable insights that help leadership move faster and make better, data-driven decisions. WHAT YOU'LL DO Business Partnership & Sales Leadership Support * Serve as the primary RevOps point of contact for Direct Sales Leaders, owning operational relationships, anticipating business needs, and earning trusted influence through preparation and deep subject matter expertise. * Drive core sales leadership cadences (MBRs/QBRs) with data, context, and a clear point of view; move fluidly between strategic presentations and process documentation. * Translate complex business questions from sales leaders into structured analyses and actionable recommendations rather than raw data exports. * Proactively surface performance trends, risks, and opportunities to sales and RevOps leadership before they ask, creating the conditions for informed decision-making. Forecasting & Pipeline Management * Stay deeply connected to the forecast, walking into calls already knowing where the risk lies through proactive alignment with Sales Managers. * Monitor critical pipeline health metrics—including coverage ratios, stage progression velocity, deal aging, and conversion rates—resolving anomalies directly with managers. * Support weekly and monthly forecast reporting packages for senior leadership, ensuring inputs are accurate, well-contextualized, and executive-ready. Performance Analytics & Insights * Conduct ad hoc performance analyses on key sales questions, including competitive win/loss deep dives, segment performance, and overall GTM effectiveness. * Build custom models, scenario analyses, quota attainment trackers, and rep-level performance trackers from scratch. * Partner with the RevOps Insights & Analytics team to define reporting requirements and build intuitive dashboards that reflect decision-driving metrics. * Contribute polished, accurately framed data to executive-ready reporting packages for board meetings and sponsor operating reviews. Operational Process & Execution * Treat operational gaps as problems you own, designing scalable solutions at the same time you flag the issue. * Partner cross-functionally with Systems and Enablement teams to close operational gaps and implement lasting resolutions. * Document processes, decision frameworks, and operational playbooks to drive consistency and repeatability across direct sales teams. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Experience: 3–5+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or an embedded business partner role supporting a direct sales organization within B2B SaaS or high-growth environments. * Operating Cadence Expertise: Deep familiarity with sales operating rhythms, including forecast cadences, pipeline hygiene management, and monthly/quarterly business reviews. * Analytical Capability: Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with a proven ability to build models, scenario analyses, and rep-level performance trackers from scratch. * GTM & KPI Fluency: Solid understanding of core direct sales metrics, including pipeline coverage, win rates, sales cycle length, ramp attainment, and activity-to-pipeline conversion ratios. * Executive Presence & Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of building trusted, influential relationships with sales VPs and senior leadership. * Organization & Ownership: Strong project management instincts to manage multiple stakeholder relationships simultaneously without letting balls drop in a fast-paced environment.     About AvidXchange AvidXchange is a leading provider of accounts payable (“AP”) automation software and payment solutions for middle-market businesses and their suppliers.
