As a Registered Nurse with The Menta Education Group, you will oversee the health and well-being of students, act as a resource for health education and maintain student records and data for compliance purposes.   RN will support two locations: Menta Academy Millstadt and Menta Academy Belleville, alternating days during the week.    425 S. Veterans Dr. Millstadt IL 62260 6400 W. Main St. Suite 3 "O" Belleville, IL 62223 8:00am-3:30pm CT, Monday-Friday, following a school calendar Direct Hire with our school: Return school year after school year (no annual contract) No Nights, No Weekends RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide first aid care and medically prescribed services. * Obtain and review consents for medication administration in school.  * Document each instance for medication administration. * Train designated staff on medication administration and documentation of medication administration * Maintain security of school health supplies.  * Instruct students in health education. * Correspond with parents and medical providers on the health needs of students. * Record immunizations, health findings, and other relevant health data. * Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly. * Coordinate and communicate with administrative staff, teachers, and other related service staff as needed or IEP directed. * Develop Individual Health Care plans for students with allergies.
