Take a look at our website www.buildit.ca to know more about us. Position Overview BUILD IT is seeking a top-performing sales professional to drive new business growth across the GTA. This is not a typical sales role — it is an opportunity to build a significant book of business in commercial construction while working alongside an experienced leadership team, a respected brand, and proven project delivery capabilities. You will own the full sales cycle, from proactive prospecting and relationship development through proposals, negotiation, and closing. What Success Looks Like In this role, you will be accountable for: * Building and converting a high-value opportunity pipeline through strategic outreach, relationship development, and proactive follow-through * Driving new business opportunities across the GTA * Owning the full sales cycle from first outreach to signed deal * Building long-term client relationships that translate into recurring revenue growth * Directly influencing BUILD IT’s strategic expansion across key sectors What You’ll Do * Pursue new business opportunities daily * Cold call, email, network, and proactively build pipeline * Meet owners, developers, architects, franchise groups, and decision-makers * Lead proposals, presentations, and deal strategy * Close profitable project opportunities * Partner with leadership to drive strategic growth initiatives * Maintain strong CRM discipline and pipeline forecasting * Build long-term partnerships across high-value client accounts What You Bring * 5+ years of success in sales or business development * Proven track record in outbound prospecting and new business generation * Strong closing ability with measurable revenue results * Competitive, resilient, and highly driven mindset * Ability to build trust and convert relationships into revenue opportunities * Experience in construction, architecture, design, or commercial services is considered an asset * Existing GTA network in commercial real estate, development, or related B2B sectors is a strong asset Why BUILD IT * Proven track record with leading brands (VEG, Chick-fil-A, Blue Bovine Steak + Sushi House, IKEA, Herschel Supply Co. etc.) * In-house millwork capabilities — a major market differentiator * Design-build / IPD model enabling faster decisions and greater deal control * Strong leadership support in strategic pursuits and closing * Ability to self-perform complex scopes with exceptional execution confidence * Real opportunity to build a substantial long-term book of business Compensation Annual base salary of $70,000–$100,000 plus a performance-based commission structure Position Status This posting is for an existing vacancy (replacement position).
