Position: Driver Location: Surkhet Organization: Kopila Valley School Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary Kopila Valley School is seeking a responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious Driver to provide safe transportation services for students and staff. The Driver will ensure that all transportation activities are carried out in accordance with traffic regulations and school policies while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and child safeguarding. This position is for only 3 months and can extend the contract on need of the organization upon the basis of Performance. Key Responsibilities * Safely transport students and staff according to assigned routes and schedules. * Ensure the safety and well-being of students during pick-up and drop-off. * Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and school transportation policies. * Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately. * Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure all required documents are up to date. * Assist students, especially younger children, during boarding and disembarking when required. * Coordinate with school administration regarding route changes, delays, or emergencies. * Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, mileage records, and fuel consumption records. * Support school activities and official transportation needs as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements * Valid driving license for the relevant vehicle category. * Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience. * Good knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance. * Experience driving school buses or transporting children is preferred. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work responsibly, punctually, and professionally. * No history of serious traffic violations or criminal offenses.
