RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead strategic healthcare communications programs from planning through execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. * Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing strategic counsel, leading senior-level discussions, and identifying opportunities for account growth. * Foster strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, innovative, and impactful client solutions. * Oversee financial and operational management of accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and workflow optimization. * Mentor, coach, and develop team members while promoting an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing culture. * Maintain a strong understanding of healthcare trends, client industries, and competitive landscapes to provide informed strategic counsel. * Collaborate with teams across AVENIR GLOBAL to maximize project success and innovation. CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will have: * Foundational knowledge of clinical research, trial conduct, and operational delivery. * Proven experience developing compelling proposals, pitches and a strong passion for building new client relationships while identifying growth opportunities. * Relevant qualifications in communications, marketing, life sciences, business, or a related field. Advanced degree considered an asset. * 8–10+ years of experience in healthcare communications, public relations, medical communications, or agency client services. * Demonstrated experience leading complex client accounts and integrated communications programs. * Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering impactful client solutions. * Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. * Strong financial and operational management capabilities, including budgeting and forecasting experience. * Proven people leadership experience with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. * Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities effectively. * A collaborative mindset and passion for advancing healthcare communications. * Capability to work 3 days a week in-office. * Ability to travel as required. EXPECTED COMPENSATION The expected salary for this role is $92,000.00 - $115,000.00 CAD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
