Our mission and customers: We are creating the freedom for SMEs to succeed by delivering Europe's leading finance workspace with banking at its core, augmented by financial tools. We are proud to be rated 4.8 on Trustpilot, based on 55,000+ reviews. Our culture puts customer satisfaction at the core of what we do, as proven by our Net Promoter Score of 75 (more about our culture here). Our journey: Founded in 2017 by Alexandre and Steve, Qonto has grown to 1,700 Qontoers serving over 750,000 customers across 8 European countries. We have been profitable since 2023, and we are just getting started. Our beliefs: We hire for skills and potential. With 80+ nationalities, 45% women, of which 56% of women in our leadership team, diversity isn't a program; It's who we are. We've built a discrimination-free hiring process because the best teams are built on merit. AI at Qonto: AI is deeply embedded in how we work (here) - Every Qontoer gets unlimited access to the best AI tools. We want people who experiment without waiting for permission, push AI beyond the obvious, know when to trust it, and when to question it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Join us as a Senior Compensation & Benefits Partner to make Qonto's compensation decisions fair, competitive, and built to scale. You'll be the trusted voice on sensitive comp calls and the architect of the frameworks that support Qonto's long-term growth, working closely with Jean-Raphaël Demol, Comp & Ben Director, your future manager. ➡️ WHAT YOU'LL DO * Advise on high-stakes comp calls: Partner with Talent Acquisition, People Partners and managers on benchmarks and guidance for hiring offers, promotions, retention cases and off-cycle reviews. * Turn data into decisions: Combine market data, internal equity and business context into clear, defensible recommendations. * Own the cycles that matter: Run salary review cycles, policy updates and compliance monitoring end-to-end. * Build frameworks that scale: Design global grading, leveling, salary ranges and pay transparency for Qonto's next phase of growth. * Strengthen governance: Sharpen decision rules, data quality and self-service resources with People, Finance, Legal and HRIS. ➡️ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * End-to-end ownership: You've personally run several full compensation review cycles, not just supported them. * Multi-country reach: You've managed benefits renewal across European countries. * Business judgment over benchmarks: You diagnose the real problem before reaching for market data, and you recommend rather than just report. * Stakeholder backbone: You challenge senior stakeholders constructively and build alignment, even when the answer is no. * AI-fluent: You use AI tools to move faster on data analysis and modeling, not just to keep up. ➡️ WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU * Scope, not just data: You'll own complex, highly visible topics, not run benchmarks for someone else's decisions. * Direct impact: Your calls shape hiring, retention and internal equity across the company. * Room to grow: More strategic exposure as you build track record. * Judgment-first culture: An experienced, international, AI-first team where how you think matters as much as what you know. ➡️ YOUR FUTURE MANAGER You'll report to Jean-Raphaël Demol, who has spent over 20 years building his Compensation & Benefits expertise, with roles at Roche Pharmaceuticals, Amazon and Criteo, where he spent 6 years as Director of Compensation and Benefits — overseeing benefits across 19 countries, equity strategy and international mobility. He then led Total Rewards at Onfido and Dataiku, before joining Pigment in September 2024 as Total Rewards & People Operations, before joining Qonto early 2026. At Qonto, we understand that true diversity isn’t just about ticking boxes on a hiring checklist. Apply regardless of the boxes you tick — who knows? You may have the missing piece of the puzzle we’ve been searching for all along.   By applying, you agree that Qonto processes your personal data to assess your application. Your data is kept for up to 2 years in our candidate pool. Read our Privacy Notice for full details.   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   On average, our hiring process lasts 20 working days.
