Senior CAD Detailer at Abstra (Remote)

This position is responsible for using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software to produce highly detailed and accurate drawings for the Sheet Metal Sector's fabrication and installation teams. Location: LATAM 100% Remote. Working hours are based on the US Central Daytime Time Zone. Essential Job Functions: ● Read and interpret contract drawings and specifications. ● Take field measurements and create 2D/3D drawings. ● Use AutoCAD to develop drawings for commercial and residential roofing/sheet metal projects. ● Revise existing drawings based on client specifications. ● Manage computer files (DWG, DWF, PDF). ● Assist Project Managers and Engineers with pre-construction tasks as needed. ● Ensure constructability, code compliance, and weatherproofing/durability. Required Education, Experience, and Skills: ● Technical Degree or Certificate in Drafting or equivalent on-the-job training required. ● 2-5 years of related work experience preferred. ● Proven proficiency using AutoCAD and knowledge of Bluebeam Software. ● Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
