As Senior Commercial Counsel – Sales & Strategic Partnerships, you will serve as the primary legal partner for the Business & Revenue team, leading negotiations with customers, strategic partners, suppliers, and public-sector organizations across multiple jurisdictions while helping build scalable commercial processes for a rapidly growing international business.   Working at the intersection of business, technology, and law, you will help structure complex commercial transactions involving hardware, software, services, strategic partnerships, and public-sector opportunities.   This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing deeptech company and directly contribute to how Alice & Bob brings its technology to customers and partners worldwide.   Reporting to the Legal Supervisor, you will serve as a trusted legal partner to the Business & Revenue team, supporting a broad range of commercial activities including strategic partnerships, public procurement opportunities, customer sales, subcontracting arrangements, and responses to RFIs and tenders.   You will help design and scale the legal frameworks, templates, and contracting practices that support Alice & Bob's commercial growth. Working in a highly innovative and regulated environment, you will collaborate closely with Finance, Intellectual Property, Export Control, and other stakeholders to provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance.   Your ability to translate complex legal and regulatory issues into actionable recommendations will be critical in enabling informed decision-making across the organization. RESPONSABILITIES: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements relating to the sale of hardware, software, and associated services. Support the Business & Revenue team throughout the commercial lifecycle, including strategic partnerships, customer negotiations, RFIs, tenders, public procurement opportunities, and subcontracting arrangements. Structure complex commercial transactions across multiple jurisdictions while balancing legal risk, business objectives, and operational realities. Partner with Finance, Intellectual Property, Export Control, Compliance, and external counsel to address cross-functional legal and regulatory matters. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve commercial contract templates, playbooks, negotiation guidelines, and internal processes. Advise business stakeholders on contractual, intellectual property, and regulatory considerations impacting commercial transactions. Help educate and empower commercial teams by providing practical guidance, training, and scalable legal frameworks that increase autonomy while protecting the company. Contribute to the ongoing development of Alice & Bob's commercial contracting strategy and legal infrastructure as the company scales internationally. REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification. At least 5 years of directly relevant experience supporting and negotiating commercial transactions involving the sale of hardware, software, and associated services. General legal experience not related to commercial technology transactions will not be considered sufficient. Demonstrated experience negotiating and structuring complex commercial transactions involving hardware, software, and associated services. Experience supporting commercial activities within technology, industrial, deeptech, engineering, or R&D-intensive environments. Strong knowledge of commercial contracting, technology agreements, and intellectual property-related issues. Ability to identify legal risks, propose practical solutions, and support business decision-making in fast-paced environments. Professional fluency in English and professional working proficiency in French, both written and spoken. NICE TO HAVE: Experience taking end-to-end ownership of complex commercial transactions. Familiarity with technology-related disputes and contentious matters. Knowledge of French, European, or U.S. public procurement frameworks. Exposure to export control regulations and international trade compliance matters. Experience implementing or working with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions. Interest in leveraging legal AI tools and technology to improve efficiency and scalability. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear, practical, and business-oriented manner. Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, highly collaborative, and evolving environment.
