You’ll work closely with the founders while enjoying exceptional autonomy and ownership over your work. 🌟 ROLE OVERVIEW GovWell is hiring a Senior Demand Generation Manager to own the campaigns and channels that turn our marketing efforts into pipeline. You’ll own how we reach our target buyers across paid search, paid social, direct mail, email, retargeting, and new channels as we scale. You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing and broader marketing team to build integrated campaigns, manage channel performance and budget, and continuously improve conversion. Because our market is highly knowable, you’ll have a unique opportunity to build a precise demand engine that reaches the right government buyers with the right message at the right time. This role offers significant ownership over demand generation strategy and execution, with a clear mandate to grow marketing-sourced pipeline and make our acquisition engine more efficient as GovWell scales. We have a hybrid work culture that combines regular in-person collaboration at our New York City office (3+ days per week) with flexibility to work remotely. 💻 WHAT YOU’LL DO * Own the demand generation calendar and orchestrate integrated campaigns across paid search, paid social, direct mail, email, and retargeting * Manage channel performance and economics, tracking conversion, cost per lead, cost per opportunity, and ROI to continuously improve how we allocate budget * Execute direct mail and email campaigns while managing performance marketing partners across Google, LinkedIn, and retargeting * Optimize landing pages, forms, copy, and other lead generation surfaces through continuous testing in partnership with our content and creative teams * Own lifecycle, nurture, and lead generation email strategy, including segmentation, messaging, automation, and the handoff of qualified leads to Sales * Test new acquisition channels and tactics, quickly identifying which experiments have enough signal to scale and which should be killed 🧠 WHO YOU ARE * 1–3+ years in demand generation, growth marketing, performance marketing, or a related role, ideally in B2B SaaS with direct ownership of pipeline or lead targets * Revenue-minded and analytical, focused on generating qualified pipeline and improving channel economics rather than optimizing for vanity metrics * Hands-on operator who can move between campaign strategy and execution, from allocating budget to writing an email or improving a landing page * Experienced with paid acquisition, email and marketing automation, CRM workflows, landing pages, and A/B testing, either directly or through managing external partners * Highly organized and systems-oriented, able to orchestrate multiple channels, campaigns, and partners while using automation and AI to increase leverage * Customer-obsessed and curious, with an instinct for understanding what motivates buyers and translating those insights into better-performing campaigns * Fast-moving and experimental, comfortable testing new channels, learning from the data, and quickly scaling what works * Strong alignment with our Core Values. 💸 COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Compensation within the posted salary band will be commensurate with experience.
