Senior Gerrit Code Review Expert at CGF

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Gerrit Code Review Expert to support the modernization and migration of the existing Gerrit environment. Responsibilities * Analyze the existing Gerrit setup, configuration, plugins and usage. * Assess version, performance and modernization requirements. * Define and execute the update/migration strategy. * Plan and conduct a PoC for the new Gerrit environment. * Configure and implement the new environment. * Migrate repositories and code review workflows. * Integrate Gerrit into existing CI/CD pipelines and developer toolchains. * Define security and permission concepts. * Train development teams and provide knowledge transfer. * Create operational documentation. Requirements * Proven hands-on experience with Gerrit Code Review. * Experience with Gerrit administration, configuration and migration. * Knowledge of Git-based development environments. * Experience integrating Gerrit with CI/CD pipelines. * Understanding of security, permissions and access management. * Strong communication and documentation skills. * Fluent German and English. * Automotive experience is a plus. Important: Practical project experience is mandatory; theoretical knowledge alone is not sufficient.
