LAB49 is a NYC-based strategic consulting firm that designs and builds digital products for the world’s leading investment banks, hedge funds, asset managers, and fintech startups. We’re seeking a Product & Delivery Manager in Mexico City to bridge the gap between client-facing engagement leads and development squads.  This is a hybrid role: you’ll manage delivery discipline across multiple streams while also supporting hands-on product execution for a single stream. You’ll work closely with US-based Engagement and Product Leads to ensure that the client strategy is translated into clear, actionable execution.  ABOUT YOU You’re a delivery leader with strong product instincts. You understand how to turn product direction into execution: clear requirements, aligned priorities, managed dependencies, and predictable outcomes.  You’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves: creating user stories, clarifying requirements, and ensuring quality through delivery. You balance client needs with team realities, hold stakeholders accountable for dependencies, and create momentum for delivery teams.  Above all, you see delivery as value creation, making sure that every sprint, release, and milestone ties back to both client outcomes and LAB49’s high standards.  ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Product & Delivery Manager, you’ll anchor LAB49’s presence in Mexico City, working hand-in-hand with US-based product, engagement leaders, developers and UX designers. You’ll ensure product intent translates into execution, and delivery discipline stays tight.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Product Execution (60%)  * Partner with US-based team to translate strategy into clear backlogs, requirements, and delivery plans.  * Work with developers, UX, and QA to ensure clarity of scope and alignment with client needs.  * Facilitate workshops, backlog grooming, and requirement walkthroughs with both clients and squads.  * Provide hands-on product support, clarifying requirements, reviewing designs, or validating test results.  * Maintain backlog hygiene and readiness, ensuring work is clearly defined, prioritized, and ready for engineering execution.  Delivery Management (40%)  * Plan, track, and manage risks across multiple streams, ensuring financial, scope, and quality targets are met.  * Manage dependencies, holding clients accountable for inputs needed to keep LAB49 delivery on track.  * Support engagement leadership in reporting progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.  * Maintain delivery quality through oversight of requirements, timelines, design reviews, and testing practices.  WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * 10+ years in technology, with a minimum of 5+ years in product execution, and 5+ in delivery management  * 5+ years managing teams of 5+ people.  * Strong command of project management fundamentals: planning, risk, tracking, and financial oversight.  * Solid understanding of Agile delivery methods and enterprise-level program governance.  * Ability to translate business requirements into structured execution for delivery teams.  * Strong collaboration and communication skills in English (C1+ level required)  * Hands-on approach, willing to dive into requirements, UX reviews, or testing when needed.  * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams without losing control.  * Hands-on experience applying AI in a professional or enterprise context, or demonstrated personal curiosity through active experimentation and a genuine fluency in the current AI landscape.  * 1 day per week presence at the office in Mexico City will be required  * Bonus: experience delivering software solutions in financial services  * Bonus: prior software development experience  WHY JOIN LAB49?  At LAB49, you’ll play a critical role in making strategy real, ensuring product visions crafted with clients come to life in the hands of users. You’ll partner with some of the world’s leading financial institutions, work alongside top consultants and engineers, and help anchor LAB49’s growing presence in Mexico.  You’ll grow as both a delivery leader and product practitioner, with mentorship from experienced engagement managers and opportunities to work on high-profile programs in financial markets. This is a chance to be the connective tissue between strategy and execution, ensuring every release creates impact.
