We work in-person five days a week in our San Francisco, NYC, or London offices. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Own the design of core user journeys across the product, from initial flows to polished UI * Collaborate with engineering and product to implement new features and refine existing ones * Bring clarity to complex user experiences as our product evolves and scales * Create and maintain a clean, modern visual language inspired by tools like Notion and powered by elements like Tailwind * Work closely with our Head of Design to articulate and evolve Mercor’s design philosophy & culture * Help tutorialize the product experience — ensuring that users know what to do without needing to be told QUALIFICATIONS * Strong portfolio that demonstrates both visual polish and UX depth * Passion for building products that are intuitive, beautiful, and a joy to use * 4–8 years in product design, ideally at fast-moving startups or high-bar product teams * Experience working closely with engineers and understanding implementation constraints * Proven ability to operate autonomously * Bonus: Experience building AI-driven products or marketplaces At Mercor, we recognize that exceptional ability comes in all forms, a core philosophy on which we built our platform.
