The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools, along with a solid background in manual testing and API testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications by developing robust test cases and expanding automation coverage. Key Responsibilities: * Design and execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests for web and mobile applications. * Identify, log, and track defects in a bug-tracking tool. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product, and design) to understand testing requirements. * Write and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools. * Develop and maintain automation for end-to-end (E2E) and regression test suites. * Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility using cloud testing services like BrowserStack/LambdaTest. * Create and execute API tests using tools like Postman, Newman, or similar frameworks. * Validate API responses, status codes, and error handling using assertions. * Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins). * Collaborate with DevOps to ensure tests run automatically as part of the release process. * Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and reports. * Provide detailed bug reports, reproduction steps, and test summary reports. * Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools to improve software testing efficiency, including AI-assisted test automation, intelligent test case generation, defect prediction, and automation script maintenance. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). * 4+ years of experience with a deep expertise in testing methodologies and manual testing. * 3+ years of experience in automation testing using tools like Selenium,Playwright, or similar frameworks. * Strong understanding of manual testing processes, including test case creation and bug reporting. * Experience with API testing using Postman/Newman or similar tools. * Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python for writing automation scripts. * Understanding of cross-browser and cross-device testing. * Good to have experience with cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack or LambdaTest. * Knowledge of mobile app testing using Appium. * Basic understanding of version control (Git). * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Candidates should be comfortable adopting AI tools to enhance quality engineering processes and reduce manual effort.
