Curveglass is a startup incubated by AE Studio that provides a flight-level correction layer for airline revenue management, helping airlines make better decisions through advanced data science and modeling. As part of the AE Studio ecosystem, Curveglass combines the speed, focus, and ownership of a startup with access to a broader network of engineering, AI, and product expertise. Curveglass runs directly inside each airline's cloud environment. Our product consists of a common Core and a client-specific Adapter, which handles everything needed to make Curveglass work within each airline's environment — including the web application, APIs, data integrations, business rules, and exports into the airline's systems. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Technical Account Manager at Curveglass, you'll own the technical implementation of Curveglass for airline clients end-to-end. This is a hands-on engineering role with broad ownership. You'll build and maintain client-specific Adapter code, work across frontend and backend systems, integrate with airline data and infrastructure, and deploy and operate Curveglass within client cloud environments. You'll also work directly with clients. That means understanding their technical and business needs, participating in and leading meetings, troubleshooting issues, analyzing recommendation results in collaboration with revenue management teams, and managing technical expectations as needed. You'll work closely with the Curveglass core team to determine what should be solved within a client's Adapter and what should become part of the shared Core. You'll bring client needs back to the team as roadmap input and Core change requests, while owning the implementation of client-specific functionality yourself. We're looking for someone who enjoys the full lifecycle of software engineering: understanding the problem, building the solution, deploying it, and seeing how it performs in the real world. You'll have meaningful ownership over the systems you build and the opportunity to influence Curveglass's architecture and product as we grow. If you enjoy owning technical problems end-to-end and working closely with the people using what you build, we'd love to talk. ABOUT YOU You're a strong, pragmatic engineer who enjoys owning systems beyond just writing the code. You're comfortable working across different parts of the stack and taking responsibility for an implementation from beginning to end: understanding requirements, designing the solution, building integrations and product functionality, deploying infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and continuing to improve the system once it's live. You're comfortable operating in a startup environment where problems may not always come neatly defined. You can take ownership, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and move from an ambiguous problem to a reliable production solution. You also communicate well with people outside of engineering. You can understand the business context behind a technical request, explain technical decisions clearly, and lead conversations with clients when needed. You work well independently, collaborate closely with data science and product teams, and care about building software that is reliable, maintainable, and genuinely useful. Required Skills and Experience * Strong software engineering experience: You can independently design, build, debug, and maintain production systems. * Fluency in Python: You're highly proficient with Python and comfortable using it in production environments. * Full-stack development: You're comfortable working with TypeScript and React and can own frontend functionality when needed. * SQL and data integration: You can work confidently with relational data, APIs, client datasets, and production data flows. * Cloud infrastructure: You're comfortable deploying and maintaining applications in AWS or Azure. * Containers and infrastructure as code: You have hands-on experience with containers and tools such as Terraform. * End-to-end ownership: You're comfortable taking responsibility for a system across application code, integrations, infrastructure, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. * Client-facing communication: You're comfortable interacting directly with clients, leading technical meetings when needed, explaining decisions clearly, managing expectations, and pushing back thoughtfully when appropriate. * Business thinking: You care about why something is being built and the outcome it needs to create, not just the technical implementation. * Production-minded development: You write maintainable code and care about reliability, observability, debugging, and how systems behave in real-world environments. * AI-powered development: You use modern AI coding tools as part of your daily development workflow and know how to use them effectively without sacrificing quality. * Self-management: You can take ownership of complex problems, navigate ambiguity, and deliver without constant oversight. * Effective communication in English: You're fluent in spoken and written English and can confidently communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Timezone flexibility: You're comfortable occasionally adapting meeting hours to work with clients across the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. Bonus Points for * Enterprise implementation experience: You've implemented enterprise or data products where customers require meaningful integration and customization rather than a purely self-service SaaS product. * Airline or revenue management experience: Familiarity with airline pricing, forecasting, revenue management, or related systems. * Data engineering experience: You've worked with production data pipelines and technologies such as Parquet, Snowflake, or similar data infrastructure. * Spanish or Portuguese: Professional proficiency in either language. * Startup experience: You thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy ambiguity, and are comfortable taking ownership beyond a narrowly defined job description. * Cloud deployment experience: You've deployed and operated applications or infrastructure within enterprise AWS or Azure environments. * Strong product instincts: You understand when something should be solved as client-specific functionality versus becoming part of a broader product. WHAT WE OFFER * Startup environment, backed by AE Studio: Join a focused, fast-moving startup while benefiting from the broader engineering, AI, and product ecosystem of AE Studio. * High-impact engineering: Build production systems that directly shape the Curveglass product and how airlines use it. * End-to-end responsibility: Own your work from architecture and implementation through deployment, integration, and ongoing operation. * Real-world problems: Work on complex engineering and data problems within airline revenue management, where the software you build directly supports business decisions. * Direct product exposure: Work closely with the people using what you build and bring those insights back into technical and product decisions. * Product influence: Help shape Curveglass's architecture, roadmap, and approach to client-specific versus shared product functionality. * Small, collaborative team: Work closely with engineering, data science, product, and leadership, with significant autonomy over how you solve problems. * Remote-first culture: Work from anywhere, or connect with the broader AE Studio team and community. * Flexible schedules: We care about outcomes, ownership, and impact—not micromanagement. * Competitive compensation: Competitive pay and the opportunity to grow alongside the company. * Opportunities for growth: Help shape how Curveglass approaches engineering, infrastructure, integrations, and technical decision-making as we scale.
