This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, customer-focused, and passionate about delivering accurate estimates for commercial roofing service, maintenance, repair, and small project opportunities. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and building strong client relationships, we'd love to hear from you.   What You’ll Do * Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for commercial roofing service, maintenance, repair, and small project opportunities. * Review project drawings, specifications, inspection reports, site conditions, and customer requirements to determine project scope. * Conduct site visits to assess existing roof conditions, identify deficiencies, take measurements, and gather information required to prepare accurate estimates. * Perform quantity take-offs and material calculations for commercial roofing systems. * Source pricing from manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors to develop competitive proposals. * Prepare detailed quotations, tender submissions, proposal packages, and supporting documentation. * Participate in sales and operations meetings, providing updates on quotations, awarded work, and new business opportunities. * Follow up with clients, consultants, property managers, and general contractors regarding quotation status and project opportunities. * Collaborate with Project Managers, Service Coordinators, field crews, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure seamless project handoffs. * Maintain accurate estimating records, pricing databases, bid documentation, and customer information. * Assist with contracts, warranties, change orders, CCDC documentation, and project closeout requirements. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while identifying opportunities for additional service and maintenance work. * Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment while managing multiple estimates simultaneously. What You Bring to the Team * Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related discipline is considered an asset. * Minimum 2 years of estimating experience, preferably in commercial roofing, waterproofing, building envelope, or commercial construction. * Experience estimating commercial roofing service, maintenance, repairs, leak investigations, or small projects is considered an asset. * Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, materials, installation methods, and repair practices. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, roof plans, and contract documents. * Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach. * Experience using estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, Procore, or similar platforms is considered an asset. * High level of professionalism and integrity when handling confidential pricing and project information. * Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple estimates and meet tight deadlines. * Valid driver's licence with the ability to travel to project sites throughout the Lower Mainland as required.   Role Snapshot * Location: Surrey Office – 3435 194 St, Surrey, BC V3Z 1A5 * Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Onsite * Anticipated Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM * Salary: $60,000 (negotiable based on experience) * Pay Schedule: Paid bi-weekly, every second Friday * Reports To: Service Manager Why Join Bothwell-Accurate?  * Competitive industry salary. * Comprehensive health benefits. * A dynamic and fast-paced work environment where no two days are the same. * Opportunities for professional development and career growth. * A collaborative, supportive team that values innovation and excellence.   Be part of a company where you're not just taking a job, you’re building a career.    Bothwell-Accurate Co.
