We're growing our Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) fast, double-digit growth year over year, and we need someone who can grow with us. As a Services Account Executive for Benelux, you will prospect, qualify, shape, sell, and close new ARR business with existing and new clients. You will identify when customers need services and subscriptions, whether that's Premier Services, Professional Services, Managed Services, Parts Replacement and Onsite Services or AI-Networking and Cloud-Networking Subscriptions. WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO You will spend your time in four interconnected areas: Building customer relationships and identifying opportunities You will meet with key customers and channel partners to understand their network operations challenges, upcoming project needs (initial deployments, migrations, optimizations), and business priorities. From these conversations, you will spot where our services and subscriptions can solve real problems. You will maintain a disciplined pipeline of opportunities, qualify them early, and position services before competitors do. Closing complex service deals Once you've identified an opportunity, you will qualify it with the sales team, position the services value to customers and partners, and drive the ARR piece of the overall deal. Then you will negotiate contracts, shepherd them through procurement, and ensure our presales and delivery teams understand exactly what we're committing to. You will handle the full cycle from proposal to signature, partnering with services delivery teams to ensure we're delivering what customers need. Being the expert everyone relies on Internally, you will educate Account Executives and presales teams on our services portfolio so they spot opportunities in their own accounts. Externally, you will become the trusted advisor, the person customers and channel partners call when they need strategic advice on services and subscriptions. You will run service reviews with customers, identify improvement opportunities, and drive adoption of new services into existing accounts. Manage the deal lifecycle You will collaborate with the regional sales team to ensure services are baked into deals from the start. You will provide input to the weekly forecast, forecast pipeline monthly, review results quarterly, and keep operations informed so contracts get executed smoothly. Your focus remains on the customer outcome, but you're also managing the mechanics that make execution possible. You will be in close contact with our Service Delivery team from day one, flagging resource needs upfront so we're set up to win.   RESPONSIBILITIES   Build and grow the services and subscriptions ARR pipeline Ensure the Service Portfolio is positioned with new opportunities at an early stage Actively manage a sales prospecting methodology by logging activity that includes managing a targeted quarterly prospect list, weekly sales calls, in-person and on-line customer meetings, alignment with partners, and coordination of presentations, proposals, and pricing Manage customer opportunities from Lead Generation through Sales to hand-over to Services Delivery Focus on positioning and selling Premier Services, Professional Services, Managed Services, Parts Replacement and Onsite Services or AI-Networking and Cloud-Networking Subscriptions to accounts in the Benelux region. Work closely and in alignment with territory Account Executives to acquire, retain, and drive business within new and existing accounts Increase account penetration by supporting and promoting enhanced services Prepare/present and run internal and external service reviews, also driving proactive recommendations with regards to service and operational improvements Develop a deep understanding of Extreme‘s Services offerings and be able to identify service opportunities within current and prospective clients. Position Extreme’s financial solutions to customers on multi-year services and subscription deals. Training and educating Account Executives and Partner Account Managers on the Services Solutions portfolio Weekly financial reporting on given opportunities, risks and upsides PERSONAL SKILLS: Experienced Services Seller with a track record of closing complex deals Owns your pipeline independently from prospecting to close to handoff Skilled negotiator who structures Services and Subscription deals that work for both customer and Extreme Networks Builds trust and influence with customers and partners at all levels Persistent through long sales cycles and complex customer procurement processes Collaborates effectively across account teams, presales and services delivery, and brings in expertise when needed Creative problem-solver who identifies unique service solutions to customer challenges Committed to developing deep expertise in networking services solutions Hands-on deal execution: defines service scopes, creates quotes and proposals, responds to RFPs, develops presentations, and manages approval workflows BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE: The successful Services Account Executive will have 5+ years selling complex services or IT solutions, ideally in a networking solutions environment. You'll understand customer network operations and deployment challenges (migrations, optimizations, new deployments). You'll have demonstrated success translating technical solutions into business value for customers. You should be comfortable working independently while maintaining team alignment, and you'll drive process improvements by working collaboratively with delivery teams. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS: 5+ years selling complex services solutions with proven quota/territory ownership and consistent track record of increasing ARR, ideally in the networking space   Experience managing and closing complex service solutions in multi-vendor environments, with proven ability to negotiate and influence at senior management levels Strong presentation and communication skills; able to articulate technical concepts to business audiences Experience working through channel partners and managing partner relationships Commercial awareness with strong understanding of service finance Ability to structure multi-year service contracts Business-fluent Dutch and English; French a plus for French-speaking Belgium Understanding of services revenue recognition and general financial accounting practices Familiarity with sales qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC) Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools (Salesforce, etc.) ITIL Certification would be useful  BS/BA Degree or equivalent qualification WORKING EXTREME & ANYWHERE: You'll receive comprehensive onboarding with local training and mentoring. Our Benelux team is small and focused, 20 people across sales, channels, presales, and services, so your impact is visible and your growth is supported. We offer a flexible hybrid model. You'll be based in Amstelveen but work remotely when it makes sense; regular customer travel across Benelux is expected and built into your role.   OTE is on a 60-40 split and is based on qualifications and experience between 100-105K OTE.
