This internship offers hands-on experience treating software testing and automation as pure software development—building scalable capabilities, backend testing utilities, and reusable code that power our market data platforms.   Working alongside experienced engineers, you will gain real-world exposure to high-performance financial technology systems. Document test results, framework usage, and bug reports clearly and concisely   Our Ideal Candidate Has: * Strong foundational knowledge and hands-on experience using Python (coursework, personal projects, research, or prior internships) * Exposure to C++ or Linux environments is a plus * Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field * Strong desire to replace manual testing with reliable, repeatable, and maintainable automated code * Basic understanding of object-oriented design, version control (Git), and writing reusable code components * An interest in learning about financial technology, trading systems, market data, and the broader SDLC * Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and clear verbal/written communication in a team-oriented environment   What You’ll Gain: * Hands-on software development experience in a high-performance production environment * Deep technical insight into financial market infrastructure and trading systems * Direct mentorship from experienced automation and software engineers * Exposure to modern SDLC practices, test automation design, and CI/CD automation pipelines * The opportunity to build meaningful, reusable software tools used by engineering teams globally
