We're seeking a Senior Imaging & Computer Vision Architect to help define the future of camera, imaging, video, and AI capabilities across Ambiq's next-generation SoC platforms. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a key member of our architecture team, you'll drive the definition and development of advanced imaging and computer vision architectures optimized for ultra-low-power operation. You'll work across hardware, software, AI, applications, and product teams to transform concepts into market-leading solutions. Responsibilities include: * Define imaging, ISP, video, and computer vision architectures for future Ambiq products * Develop architecture specifications, power/performance models, system flows, and use-case definitions * Drive camera image quality and imaging pipeline strategy * Evaluate and integrate external and internal imaging, video, and AI IP * Partner with software teams to define APIs, hardware abstraction layers, and imaging frameworks * Collaborate with FPGA, design, verification, and physical design teams through implementation * Support customer engagements to understand requirements and align product capabilities with market needs * Contribute to product roadmaps and next-generation imaging technology strategy WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field * 8+ years of imaging, ISP, video, computer vision, AI accelerator, or related architecture experience * Proven experience creating architecture specifications for complex SoCs or hardware platforms * Expertise in one or more of the following: * Image Signal Processing (ISP) * Camera Systems * Computer Vision * Video Encode/Decode * Neural Network Acceleration * Embedded AI * Experience delivering products from concept through silicon validation * Strong understanding of low-power mobile, wearable, or IoT systems * Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred: * MS or PhD * Advanced process node experience * Team leadership or technical leadership experience WHY AMBIQ?
