As part of the Workplace Technology Engineering team, the Sr IT System Admin - App and Collaboration Platform, is responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, security, and operational reliability of the Company’s enterprise collaboration platforms and related applications.  This role serves as a senior escalation resource for Microsoft 365 and other assigned collaboration technologies, manages platform configurations and access, monitors service health, resolves complex operational issues, and implements approved changes and enhancements.  This position partners with IT engineering, security, compliance, business stakeholders, and vendors to maintain reliable, secure, and well-documented services.  The role may also maintain existing workflows, scripts, and integrations and identify opportunities for operational improvement. Specific Duties and Responsibilities • Administer and maintain assigned Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Power Apps, and Power Automate. • Configure platform settings, administrative policies, permissions, security groups, and role-based access in accordance with approved IT and security standards. • Monitor platform health, service availability, capacity, system alerts, and vendor notifications; coordinate and execute appropriate operational responses. • Serve as a senior escalation resource for incidents and service requests involving collaboration platforms and related applications. • Troubleshoot complex configuration, access, performance, synchronization, and application integration issues, document findings, and resolutions. • Perform routine platform maintenance, upgrades, release validation, and administrative changes through established change-management processes. • Administer collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom and support approved department portals and intranet environments. • Manage user lifecycle activities and access changes for assigned platforms, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and role changes, in accordance with approved controls. • Maintain and support existing workflows, scripts, connectors, and low-code automations; troubleshoot failures and implement approved modifications. • Implement technical designs, configurations, and automation solutions developed or approved by IT engineering, security, or platform leadership. • Maintain accurate system documentation, inventories, configuration records, standard operating procedures, support guides, and recovery procedures. • Support software license administration by monitoring allocation, usage, renewals, and compliance, and by providing data to support vendor and cost-management decisions. • Partner with Security, Compliance, and Quality teams to execute required controls, access reviews, evidence collection, and scheduled administrative activities. • Coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams to investigate service issues, track resolutions, and implement approved platform changes. • Identify recurring incidents, administrative inefficiencies, and service risks and recommend operational improvements. • Develop support procedures and provide technical guidance or training to Client Support and other IT staff. • Participate in testing and validation activities for platform changes, new features, integrations, and releases. • Provide after-hour and on-call support on a rotating basis and assist with critical incident response. • Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures. • Understand relevant security, privacy, and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company. • Ensure other members of the department to follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures. • Provide escalation and on-call support for critical incidents. • Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Position Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field with 5+ years’ enterprise systems administration experience including experience administering Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Advanced experience administering Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Apps, or Power Automate • Experience managing enterprise application configurations, permissions, administrative policies, and role-based access • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, identity and access management, and authentication concepts • Experience troubleshooting complex collaboration-platform and application issues • Experience with incidents, problems, change, and service-request management processes • Experience maintaining scripts, workflows, connectors, or low-code automations • Working knowledge of APIs and system integrations sufficient to troubleshoot and support existing solutions • Experience documenting system configurations, operating procedures, and support processes • Experience supporting security, compliance, access-review, or audit-control activities • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders • Ability to organize and prioritize concurrent operational responsibilities, projects, and critical incidents • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously. Working Conditions • General office environment • Willingness and ability to work on site. • Requires some lifting and moving of up to 10 pounds • Must be able to move between buildings and floors. • Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. • Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. • Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. • Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis. Annual Base Salary Range:  $127,000 - $200,000/ year We offer a competitive compensation package plus a benefits and equity program, when applicable.   Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
